Is VC1 compression implemented in someway within vegas. Microsoft on their media page claims that VC1 is alreadt implemented / is a basic part of media encoder (wmv9). VC1 compression comes as low / medium / Advanced , does this match to the low/medium/advanced within the customise settings when rendering to wmv9 ?. I was reading a cinema server specs and the following was qouted there

Supports MPEG-2, MPEG-4, ISMA MPEG-4, MPEG4 and WMV9 over MPEG-2 transport and WMV9 streaming.
Supports HD MP2, MP4 and WMV9
Supports MP1/2@HL (720p/1,080i), MP4@L5 (720p) and WMV9 MP@ML (720p)

What does WMV9 over mpeg2 transport mean ?
Whats HD MP2 ? (Mpeg 2 of HD resolution ??)
Whats @HL ? (whats the HL stand for ? and does vegas render to that type ?)
MP@ML (720p) ???

Can someone throw light on these formats and does Vegas support rendering to these types ?
