DOES VEGAS HAVE TROUBLE RENDERING M2t FILES

I seem to have an inordinate amount of trouble rendering my film shot on the V1. I can only render in a resolution so low it is barely YOUTUBE quality...it always gets the lack on memory window which is wrong because I have sent it to my friend who has the latest 64 bit and he also gets crashes...infact the cut and trim isn't working either and whatever opens on cut and trim comes out without any media fx...I am at a loss...anyone????

I am doing a feature with color correction...about 70 mins long...won't allow a render on anything high level...got to 720 finally but stops whereever I have gone into properties to speed up the clip...

I've never had any problems myself even on 60+ minute weddings.

However, my first though would be to try and break it up into sections by copying and pasting into a few new projects. Then you can try using nesting and see if they will work that way. If it still won't work then render each section out individually and re-import them all into a new project. Rendering twice is not ideal but may be your only option.

Another possibility to to use the script to render out an Image sequence, then render out your audio as a a wav or Dolby .ac3 and put them all back together again. I don't know how this method would compare to rendering out seperate sequences then re-rendering them all together, but it might be a bit less taxing on your system.

I just had another thought - in your properties under the 'video' tab try reducing the amount of memory for RAM preivew to 512mb or thereabouts. It should free up some more memory for rendering.

Thanks bro...tried that and got it out in SD in 1o segments...should be the case...it's a professional program...very distressed ands dissapointed...wasted every day and night for weeks trying to troubleshoot and get out something reasonable...
