Does this look too fake??

Just a hair over the top in my book. It´s getting too soft and too tan.

Reduce the effects for about 50% and you are fine.
Using professional make up products (grease makeup and transparent powder) in the first place makes life much easyer.

Was he really that pasty white when he came in? I agree it is a touch too soft, but the color looked ok to me... better than the first shot anyways.

It's hard to be objective when we know what we are looking at. I think it looks really good. I think if you posted just the AFTER shot and asked if anyone noticed anything about anything...most wouldn't even criticize your treatment of his skin. imo.

Thanks all, next time I'm gonna try it with a little make up and with a talent that has more "color" to his skin.

Looked pretty good to me - hard to tell if it's 'too much' because of the compression. If you post another test, try making a split-screen of the before and after.
