Does the Firestore FS-4 work perfectly with the DVX100B?

I was doing a bit of research on the Internet and I found a thread where the user mentioned the FS-1 not being 100% compatible with the DVX. Has this been fixed in the FS-4? Is it 100% compatible? If not, it's not really worth the money.

The issue in the thread I found was that the Firestore would not record/stop recording when the record button was pressed on the DVX.
