Does the DVX have a mini jack?

I was just wondering if the DVX has a mini jack to plug a cheap little non-XLR mic into. I'm not into unbalanced audio, and I know this might seem like a strange question, but I was just wondering.
I have a little wireless I'd like to test out, but it's not XLR.

By the way -just for anyone looking for a wireless-... I just got my new G2 Sennheiser wireless and so far I reccommend it. The audio seems to come in pretty hot, I had to take the AF OUT level down significantly but it sounds decent. I remember the ME66 coming in extremely hot, too; What is it with these Sennheiser mics?

Re: Does the DVX have a mini jack?

is there a mini-jack to XLR adapter??
i have this great mic that has an 1/8 in. output....
would be cool if i could plug into the cam to see how it sounds..

Re: Does the DVX have a mini jack?

The Sennheiser Evolution 100 wireless set only has a 1/8" output, and it includes a 1/8" to XLR adapter cable. So yes, it definitely exists. Check B&H or Markertek, I'm sure they'll have something.

Even RadioShack has an XLR to mini (male), which you can hook to go to a mini female to female if you want to go that route.

For higher end stuff, you can find stuff at B+H like the above said....

Ah, yes you are! ;)

XLR is balanced audio. Your electret terminating in a stereo miniplug is unbalanced.

If you can't find an adapter cable (which are everywhere), one can be made for you.
