Does the 120HZ Panasonic BT-LH1760 do a 5:5 pulldown on 24p?

About 4 months ago, I bought a Panasonic BT-LH1760, because of the high quality IPS panel and excellent viewing angles (for an LCD). But, I only recently decided to learn more about what the 120hz upgrade is supposed to do. I am wondering, what does this 120hz feature offer me, as a 24p video producer, realistically? The advertised benefit of "it will make all your pans appear smoother" doesn't really pass the smell test for me. So, I decided to do some investigating on the subject this morning.

After some googling, I learned that *consumer* 120hz LCD's will do one of two things when it comes to 24p material on the 120hz display and one of them is something that may be worth the price of admission: They can either add motion interpolated additional frames so that it looks like 120FPS (no thanks!) or they can remove the 2:3 pulldown from the 1080i60 high def stream, and ADD a 5:5 pulldown, turning it into a 120hz stream. Basically, by adding 4 black frames after every 1 real frame, to make it 120hz.

This 5:5 pulldown method is highly desirable because it effectively makes the LCD a "native 24p" display with no motion artifacts during panning... Which is something I am definitely willing to pay extra for. But, I was wondering if anyone here could confirm that is, in fact, what my monitor is doing? How can we be for sure about that?

Since I may be in the market for a 2nd monitor soon, I want to determine if the 120hz BT-LH1760 is worth the $$ premium over the similarly equipped 60hz BT-LH1710. And, this 120hz feature is about the only difference between them, as far as I can tell. Any advice on the subject would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
