Does Sound Card Quality matter in output?

I have a built in Realtek HD sound card and was editing some DSLR video with H4N audio. I was just wondering if my sound card will affect the sound quality once I am ready to export the video?

It was all recorded in 48khz preset, and I can export in the same, but as a kick ass sound card will get me better audio during playback, I wanted to know if it also effects my final export quality....

if yes, which sound card would you recommend.

Not at all. A sound card only affects your playback of the audio, and while that may impact your ability to better edit your sound (in the way that a bad monitor inhibits proper color grading), it does not inherently alter the actual audio.
