T thirdd3 Member Oct 3, 2008 #1 I work for a news station in Seattle and we are going to be purchasing the HVX200a for our creative services dept. I am unfamiliar with what genlock is but the bosses need to know if this camera has that function for doing live shoots. Does anybody know??

B Barry_Green Moderator Oct 3, 2008 #2 No, no genlock on the HVX series. You'd have to go up to the HPX500 to get genlock.
