does FCP4 support 24p?

Sorry for the dumb question, but does Final Cut Pro 4 support 24p or do I need to get FCP5 updrade to work properly with DVX footage?

Also, if FCP4 DOES support 24p, should I be capturing my footage shot in 24p standard using the advanced pulldown removal or no, and should I change the capture presets to 23.98 fps or 24 fps? Because there are both options

1. Yes, FCP 4 supports 24P

2. No. 24P Normal is captured the exact same way as any other footage. Do not use pulldown removal, and do not use 23.98 OR 24. Use the easy setup for DV NTSC (if you're in U.S., that is)
