Hey,
I am hoping to soon start learning to use a sound board for editing. Up until now I have allways just edited with IMovie or Windows Movie Maker, but as far as I know they don't really support sound boards.
So then, its time to pick a new editing program. My father has a very old version of Media 100 that he bough back when it was Industry Standard. I'm sure its a very capable software, but I don't want to spend a lot of time learning it if nobody in Hollywood uses it anymore.....
Is it still common, or should I break down and buy Final Cut Pro or some other newer editing program?
Thanks in advance for any advice,
