Does anyone know anything about Optar Illumina, and RR question

I may get some PL mount lenses that are Optar Illumina super 16 lenses.

Anyone know anything about them?

Also, I am stretching here but can they be used with 35mm lens adapters?
I never tried it so I am curious.

Not really. The circle of illumination of S16 lenses is too small, you'd have to zoom in incredibly far and (depending on the adapter you're using) maybe you can't even zoom in far enough to avoid vignetting.

No they will not cover 35. You don't zoom in a prime lens. A PL mount is a PL mount for either 16 or 35mm cameras. They both use the same flange focale depth of 52mm.
