Does anyone know any HD highspeed cameras that are not so expensive?

I'm hunting for a camera that can shoot anywhere between 100-500fps for a slow motion test. The trick is, I need a high resolution 1920x1080.

I've searched around and found consumer camera that can shoot 600fps. JVC GZ-X900, I thought this is perfect, with a <£450 price tag, it will serve me well, but I believe the resolution is about (400px x something) :(

The top professional, high speed cameras charge thousands of pounds per 10 hours etc.

So my question is, are there anything in between what I found and the professional high speed cameras?

cheers

2/3" Scarlet when it is released will shoot up to 120fps continuous and 150 fps burst at 2880 x1620 raw for HD format finish. Short of that, nothing in the reasonably priced HD video camera world goes beyond 60fps at 1920x1080.

I've seen DPs saying they use this camera for previewing how a Phantom shoot will turn out.

My bet is that the resolution must be pretty low on high FPS.

And you can always ask Jarvis to make one for you... /badjoke
