Hello DVXusers,

Does anyone know any other worthwhile film networking websites or film forums/message boards (besides DVXuser)?

If so, what is the name of the site(s) you recommend?

Thanks,

Nothing I have found comes close but have you looked at

DV Info Net — The Digital Video Information Network — is a technical and creative resource for learning about digital video technology, and applying that information
in a wide variety of creative applications which use digital video technology. In recent years, the primary focus of DV Info Net has transitioned to High Definition
video acquisition, post production and distribution. DV Info Net is mainly intended for a professional audience, but most all visitors are welcome to read and participate
on the site regardless of their technical background.

Stage 32: the facebook for filmmakers. I don't spend a lot of time on there, but it might be useful. ( www.stage32.com/ )

DVINFO Forum: Somebody already mention it, but I just want to emphasize that it comes closest to DVXUSER. I think they're also more civilize over there too (www.dvinfo.net)

Planet5d forum: Use to be cinema5d, that's where I first started out. It's a very gear-centric forums. That's where I started out and where I get all my DSLR recommendations from (http://forums.planet5d.com/forum.php)

RedUser Forum: This is mostly for Red camera users but there are also other subforums that might be helpful. Very professionals and most of them do this for a living. (http://www.reduser.net/forum/forum.php)

Deakins Online Forum: not many people know about this site, to get a professional like Roger Deakin to answer your question is just amazing (http://www.deakinsonline.com/forum2/index.php?sid=dbd50492e0641e0f29a45476a254271b)

MeetUp: this website allow people with common interest to have a gathering. There's a good chance that your town might have a filmmaker meetup. (www.meetup.com)
