Does anyone have any experience with the ikan D7w 7" Field Monitor?

I am shopping for a field monitor and I am pulling, what little I have left, my hair out. I ran across this monitor, the ikan D7w and it has everything I want, especially full screen WFM, Vector Scope and RGB parade. I have heard one discouraging comment by someone that I know about the iKan monitors not having very good build quality or reliability. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with this model, the ikan D7w and can share their opinion.

Thanks.

Got one right here, and I'm loving it! I think it's a fantastic monitor for the price. I use the waveform every time I shoot, and being able to adjust the black level per shot and see exactly what I'm getting exposure-wise is a huge plus. Also the peaking function is way better than the one on my FS700.

The one problem with it was the supplied NP-F battery plate. I had to use a scalpel to trim down the lugs before I could get a battery in. The build quality there is definitely sub-par. The good news is that the build quality on the actual monitor is great, and it works superbly.

Battery life seems good too, though I haven't tested it properly yet.

Let me know if I can answer a specific question.

Yeah, that full frame WFM, Vectorscope and RGB parade are huge selling points. The only other monitors that I can find with the full frame scopes are very much more expensive.

Thanks.

Its one cool piece of gear that is always with me. It's cast metal body with no big open vents saved the monitor at leas twice. Once while it started to rain and second time this weekend while shooting during a sand storm!!!
