Does AE CS5 have an arrow end point option for anim lines???

Coming from an Apple Motion 4 background, I'm trying to design a WWII map showing the German invasion of Poland with a series of animated arrows. In Motion it was really easy to do with Motion's "start cap" and "end cap" options that allow you to select "arrow" as an option.

Please see this two stills from my work in Motion 4:

Does After Effects CS5 have this option or would I have to design the arrow head separately and animate/rotate it over a revealing line?

I know there are plugins that allow this, but I don't think AE has it natively. At least I haven't seen it.

I've always just created the arrow head as a shape layer and used a motion path. It's pretty simple.

Thanks Pete,

Can you just help me a little further with this effect? I know how to make a motion path. But regarding the animated line: do you just trace the line over the path? Do you have an example you can point me to? Thank you in advance for any further help you can provide.

You can draw your path on a shape layer and use the trim path animation modifier to do the line bit, then you can create the arrow on a separate shape layer and copy and paste the path from the line into the position of the arrow shape layer and then turn the orient to align to path. Adjust your keyframes to keep the pace of each the same and it should work fine.
