Documentary Shot on SGPro

Thought I'd share the trailer we just completed for an hour long documentary shot down in Honduras Central America. 90% of the footage (including ALL interviews) were shot on the HVX200 with the SGPro Rev. 3 and Nikon lenses. We recently watched it projected in a theatre after post color and sound . . . looked fantastic.

The score was completed here in Arizona as well as at LA Studio East in Utah.

Here is the trailer:

Oh snap, I grew up in Utah. Where's your studio at? Great trailer by the way, looks good and seems to have some interesting content.

Images look great, but what is this about?
Is this guy a Jesus impersonator?
I can imagine a lot of christians feeling insultet by a curly haired dressman seriously pretending to be the visual representation of the Son of God.
Is this comming from the tradition of having a fake Elvis on bachelor partys?
But maybe I just don´t get it, so excuse if I wandered of in the wrong direction!
Again visually top notch!

Great question . . . and no need to apologize. Love the Elvis analogy . . . that would make a sweet documentary as well! Maybe I should have elaborated more on the story - helps understand the images. There is a local photographer who created a series of fine art images using a model who appears to look like Jesus. The story line actually follows the record familiar to the LDS faith about Jesus and the inhabitants of ancient America.

So the documentary is sort of part behind the scenes and part telling the actual story of the images themselves . From a filmmaking standpoint it is an interesting approach. Rather than an hour of talking heads and stock imagery you have some fun behind the scenes segments combined with cinematic shots, fine art photography, and a very impressive score to help tell the story the photographer went down there to tell.

Thanks for the comment on the imagery. More than anything that is what I am trying to share on this forum . . . I always enjoy seeing others work produced on the adapters here.
