Im making a Pilot Docci about this guy who guys around the world on a tractor to raise awareness for the fight against women abuse. The pilot im making will feature him travelling to some events to create publicity for his upcoming trip around the world. I will use the footage of him going to these events to create a pilot and show a broadcaster what it will entail.
The main docci will be country based and will be focused on his trip around the world. And he will meet all these people on the way who are doing there bit to raise awareness.
i want to incorporate travel into the docci but im worried about finding the correct balance. Because travel channel might want more travel and someone else might want more subject matter about creating awareness. And then there is the tractor stuff, its an intersting tractor and that brings in the tractor mechanical type of audience.
Which broadcaster should i approach with something like this and how should i go about doing it?
