Doc as a Barbarian?????????

Holy MF'er!!!!!!!!!!!!! Neighbor had a party tonight (with live music I like, and decided if he's going to keep me up despite my early call time, I'm going to show up uninvited!) Come to find out, he's a Ren Fair re-enactor! And has his own crew of "Dragon Slayers". Costumes are out of this world! Stuff that puts "Braveheart" and "Conan the Barbarian" to shame! And we are talking about the film biz and how Indie Arms may assist them. In trade, they may train me as a "barbarian" including sword play and horsemanship (areas I am lacking), and assist in me procuring my barbarian garb. Now have invite to the Escondido Ren fair next month......for the group to judge me worthy of joining or not.

Pics to follow, as soon as I can arrange a photog.
Small freakin' world!!!!!!!!! My neighbor!

LOL, that's what he does. And why I am interested in that role......can't explain. But dammit it appeals to me. Swinging a 4 foot double handed sword in a mock fight, decked in leather and chain mail and fur.........Doc the Barbarian.jpg

Hey, I wanna give ol Ah-nold a run for his money. Maybe not in physique, but I'll make it up in attitude.

I used to do the Ren Fair's back in the day....as a renegade apprentice of a magician. When Flash paper wasn't an issue and a controlled item. Had a whole routine worked out where I would make crap up and determine people's fate with the flash paper and a small donation of a personal item (no money).

My company logo has a double sword. Love the Medieval stuff, not so much the barbarian stuff. Too cool!

Glad to hear it Doc! I love some sword play myself. A good work out with the 4ft hand and a half sword does wonders for sore shoulders :) I would just warn against horses, them things are dangerous. Riding is one thing, but stunt riding can shorten your career.
