do you think people have aliases on this board?

[c.g._eads]

could it be possible that some of us have aliases? and that we might use said aliases to bring out the other side of our personality? is this possible? or am i paranoid?

[J.R. Hudson]

Interesting question

I'm straight as I'd be if we were at the pub throwing some down; WYSIWYG with my ass. Hell, I'm actually reserved for the record

[Terry_Lasater]

For better or worse... I be me.

I have no need to create an alias.

I've been bad, I've been good
Dallas, Texas... Hollywoooooooood

[Rich Lee]

im sure some people have aliases...

i made a george lucas alias to talk some smack to someone who had a steven spielberg alias...who turned out to be Disjecta...but it was all for fun...not to piss anyone off or talk serious trash.

if they wanted to...couldnt mods find out? can they see ip addresses?

[J.R. Hudson]

Yes; we have IP ADDRESS access....

But I thought the implication was 'Are we some weird ass mystique' online? As in 'personality disorders?

Who knows. (I'm pouring more Baileys)

[packofpickledpeppers]

hahaha, sometimes yes. sometimes no.

[GenJerDan]

But IP addresses won't give you much at all. It'd show me being connected through T-Online is all. A tracert would maybe get it down a little further, if the routers are named.

And the IP changes every day (supposedly).

[J.R. Hudson]

No no no Gengerdan

We can see plenty of info and not changing IP address (Dynamic). Is it alot? Not rally; but IP addresses come in handy when banned bitches try and rereg'

[BLUESPIDER]

My alias is BLUESPIDER.

[HansK]

Dang! You found me out. I'm really John Hudson. Now you all go an pork yourselves!!!

:cheesy:

[Terry_Lasater]

OK, I confess... it is I, Barry Green. I created this alter ego and named him Terry Lasater. I made up a whole phony bio about living in Oklahoma and buying Super8 cameras, etc.

You may think to yourself, "Barry, why do you do this?". Well, my friends, isn't it clear? I need more cowbell!!!

[J.R. Hudson]

Hansk

If you were really John Hudson you would have said GO **** YOURSELVES!

[HansK]

Double Dang!!! Yes, I'm not really John Hudson. I'm... I'm... PK. Now go buy some helmets for my kids or else they will all die and you will hate yourselves!

[Fake Name]

Absolutely not.

Btw, you can have a look at this web site : http://www.hostip.info/

This is a open source geo-location database.

Very useful and you can help them to improve the efficiency of the results.

I don't think very many here have "aliases"-

a2zproductions, aerosolcheese, agnus61, asparagui, azedit, balrais1, Bigmagic, Bischofftep, boo, Bungess, CallaghanFilms, capitalP, cici, CMessineo, coffee, crazymcnutjob, Curugon, cygnet74, Dahopafilms, dashwood, Daygola814, disjecta, dpr19, DukeTown_Baby, dvaddict, eclaire, electrolift, Enflow, Envision, Eurotrash, evolvnyc, ExileOnTheMainStreet, Fake Name, FREUDENBERG_FILMS, FuturusX, Gary, GenJerDan, giver, goldyprog, gug, Abler, henryp, hiderocketdive, hvpz, img, jdv, Jeskid, jlames, jochem, Joe94, kellyboy, kingdex, kplo, lonearcherfilms, markp17, mdslammer, MiniMan, mr._guiyotinne, mrpunch, MURDERJUNKIE, Mythfit, Nathyn, natob2, NBCshooter, oli, ovjamaica, Pelican, peterlaurie, Pipe, PrestonH, Rafe, redjar9, RunTwo, SafetyO, Sanchez, scharky, seanpedersen, skettalee, slimjimmed, Slimothy, sodotoguwangus, Spartacus, spidey, Spiff, Stabb_Films, stevesnj, Sumfun, t-unit, tankgirl, taubkin, the-lyons-den.com, ti3ucuong, TizzyEntertainment, tony404, Trent, tripleAAA, Tzedekh, vanZutten, WilderWorks, Wilson, xray, yohenk, Zim

But as for me, I'm Joe, last name Fowler. When I first registered it wouldn't let me put a space in between.

I think avatars make more difference than aliases. I find that an avatar actually affects the voice I hear when I read a persons post. Hudson is permanently Walken, Terry's Will Ferrell.

"This is America, aliases don't mean ****."

[David G. Smith]

Aliase, Aliase, ****, do you know how many David Smiths there are in the world. There were four of us in my Jr. High School. Everytime one of us got in trouble, we all had to go to the principles office.....
