Do I really need video cards? Help

Hi smart people.
Here is the scoop:
I have a Powermac G5 quad, ATTO PCIexpress card for my 2 Medea Raid Hard Drive./ 2 LACie FW drives. Also I will get the Dell 24 HDmonitor.
I am buying the HVX 200 as soon as you guys are finishing buying the first batch .
I will shoot in HD, use FCP5 for editing for short , independent movies for eventual movie transfer or digital projection.
The question is : Do I still need a video card like DeckLink or Kona? Why. I used to have one before for my now gone G4 because I was inputing DVCPRO50 footage from a deck. But now with the direct FW and P2 cards do I still ned one?

I just got my Quad G5 with a Kona Lhe which I'll be using to output to an HD monitor. Sounds to me like you just want to go between the mac and the camera, in which case you don't need a card. Unless of course you want to do color correction or want to see the best quality HD image on a crt HD monitor.
