While I do have some decent lights for the project I'm shooting there is one location where cheap clip-on lamps will actually work best. Should I use any household tungsten bulbs or should I buy special bulbs for shooting video? Shooting on HDSLR's.
If you're using the cheap clip-on lamps, I would use regular tungsten bulbs. Photoflood bulbs require
a ceramic fixture-they will melt a regular plastic fixture. Take a variety of bulbs with different wattages,
so you can balance the lighting to your taste.
