I've posted several questions here but I never get a reply. Why? Nobody has the answers. The questions are stupid? People don't like me? What gives?:crybaby:
ok sorry that was one of the several smart assed things I had pop up in my mind.
Several reasons,
*They just don't know the answer
*not all users check on a hourly, daily or weekly biases. due to work or personal so the person that knows your answer might not have seen it and then there are several post after your post so it gets buried in the mix.
*It might have been a question that could be answered from just searching. I'm sure that some of the users get tired of answering the same question 100 times.
So can you post a link the the topic that you posted and never got a answer to?
ok I stopped being lazy and looked at all the post that you have posted.
*PAL-NTSC conversions, Cant help you there I only work NTSC
*can i change 15 fps material to 30 fps - Try asking in the FCP section instead of the output compression, more people might see it there since it is kinda program based.
*making pal dvd? - maybe try posting in the Audio section on the main page, I don't know the answer to your question.
*Good DVD Copier and Label Maker?- not sure about Apple computers, but in general stay away from stick on labels. From what I understand they can throw off the balance of the Cd. Might look into a printer that will print directly on a cd or dvd. I bought a Epson RX595 from under $100 usd. Works great for small quantities. Came with a little program that will let you construct the design you want to print. Also tigerdirect.com sells some $200 and up printers, not sure about international shipping. just google CD or DVD printers.
*Can you convert ntsc to pal in fcp - you posted that one at the start of the year, might of just gotten over looked, if you still don't know, try posting another comment on that thread like "still wondering" doing so will "bump" that topic back up to the top of the listings.
*can i use fcp 5.0.4 to convert ntsc to pal - Seems like same question just in a different location.
*pal dvd question - don't know
Sorry I don't really any answers, only other thing I can think of if you have not already done so is to use the search function on here, or say for the audio question aiff or .... try doing a google search, if someone on here does not know, someone "out there" has to know.
I would also suggest that if you do find the answer, post it back into your original posting so that someone else that having the same question as you might find the answer easier.
For PAL to NTSC try Atlantis DVFilm. Works much better than doing it in After Effects or QT Pro. Doesn't do a great job going from NTSC to PAL though.
Or try mpeg streamclip. Do a Google search, it's free. It will convert as well.
You can make 15 fps to 30 fps in After Effects if you enable frame blending though it won't magically create new shiny frames. What are you trying to accomplish?
DVD labeler. Lexmark and HP both make decent, cheap printers that use inkjet technology to print right on ink jet compatible discs.
As far as copying and printing goes if you want to automate the process I'm very happy with my Bravo II robot.
