Not sure I follow. If you are saying fresh water makes frogs enlarged, and salt water would make them shrivel, why would fresh water make us shrivel? Not sure I get the connection...

We don't shrivel, but we actually absorb water (good ol' osmosis). The uneven "prune" effect is because we are absorbing it differentially, whereas a frog absorbs it fairly equally from all sides due to their special amphibious skin. There are all kinds of experiments to prove the water gain such as weiging yourself before and after the bath (and drying off) on a very good scale, or keep track of your excretion over time compared to not taking a long bath.

Who said science can't be fun? It's a good excuse to have your significant other spend more time with you in the tub...

...just don't excrete in the tub, he he he .

Points well taken, but just to clarify, excrete in this case is "number 1," not the other one.

Why didnt you just say "Dont rewarm the water" or "Dont turn on the fountain" or "Dont activate Moby's blowhole"...nevermind the last one.

Barf cube. But those are interesting terms though..

Yeah, I'm lookin at YOU, Terri.

Oh, and I think this thread is helping me to see why gold fish are that color.

Hey, nice euphemisms. I'm usually privy to lots of crazy stuff, but I have to admit those are new for me. I'm seeing you in a whole different light now...

...red light, that is. He he he.

Thanks for the enlightenment.
