Is there a noise reduction plugin for light works or virtual dub, or any program really, that allows for both luma and chroma control of reduction? I like reducing chroma noise but keeping most of the luma noise as it retains sharpness.
I have used Neat Video. It allows separate control for luma and chroma NR, plus a number of other controls. In my experience, it also can be adjusted to greatly reduce luma noise and still retain sharpness. Available for Premiere Pro and After Effects, apple, virtualdub and others - check their site for other programs.
