The Dual Layer Superdrive in my Dual 2.0 G5 seems to be acting up. I can burn one, maybe two discs consecutively (from DVDSP, Finder, whatever), and then after that the discs just spin and spin until I let the machine cool down for an hour or so...heat issue or something maybe?
Anyway, I've got a new MacBook Pro, and it has no problem burning DVDs all day long. So, can I replace it with just any new Dual Layer drive?
