DJI RSC2 vs RS2

I can’t decide whether the folding arm on the RSC makes it a better companion due to being able to easily put it in briefcase mode?
If money is not an object and neither is payload, which is best - the RSC for the arm or the RS for the ability to use all features off the handle without phone!? How much of a PITA is doing briefcase with the RS?
Any advice gratefully received. Thanks!

There are many YouTube reviews on both. Looks like you can get similar results with either. I always go with the less expensive because the gear goes obsolete so quickly and you can use the money you saved to get something else you really need like the lens controller. My only concern the hing is a point of failure that could wear out.

Thanks very much, that makes perfect sense. I’ve watched all the vids but they don’t really comment on the bit I’m concerned about. I guess both do what I want very well and I think I’ll go for the one without a hinge for the reason you suggest plus I think the overall quality is better.
Very best, Ben

I have the RS2 and it takes just a few seconds to put it into briefcase mode with the included adapter(presuming you don’t have anything else mounted onto the side rails). I bought an inexpensive 1/4-20 grip on Amazon for about $10-$12 that I screw onto the briefcase adapter so that I don’t have to use/unscrew the native DJI tripod/extension handle.
