DJI Ronin S Gimbal

If Canon made a half decent video SLR you wouldn’t need to. Sigh.

But this also looks great for SLRs. A bit beefy, but looks manageable. I might look at this to replace my V1 Crane which has started dropping my camera.

Anyone have info on the dedicated focus control thingy you can mount on it? Not seeing it on their site.

Part of me really wants to like this and get it with the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K when it comes out. The other part of me is glad I just sold my Ronin-M because I had so many problems with that thing.

Which problems did you have with the Ronin M ? I sold that only because C200 + anything other than small plastic lenses is too heavy and introducing vibrations in footage. Ronin S motors are twice as strong and I blindly preordered it without testing, I'm pretty sure it can handle C200 with L glass. I tried to use C200 with 17-55 on a Crane 2 and that worked great, but Ronin S is much stronger so I'm pretty much set...
 
I would think the C200 or EVA 1 would be heavy to operate with a single handle gimbal. Maybe for short shots but anything longer would be painful.
