Based on their announcement, it's available now, link published June 18th.
If this works as well as advertised, this will be a part of my kit. The quadcopter itself is too wobly.

There are also other brushless gimbals avalable as well for less money. The DJI stuff is pretty nice(I have the Phantom that I use to fly my H3B) but the price point is a tad higher than many had hoped for. On the plus side, the DJI unit is designed specifically for the Phantom so they work well together. The Phantom is a suprisingly stable platform. The gimbal will help to smooth out shots due to windy conditions and, truthfully, poor piloting. Being a solid pilot will still carry a lot of the weight in acquiring good footage.
