DJI launches Mavic Air

Do you know if you can use any monitor with the DJI apps/remotes to display output? IE SmallHD, etc? Or does it have to be either a phone/tablet, or the DJI CrystalSky?

The CrystalSky looks nice but it seems perhaps limited VS if you could just use it with a SmallHD, Atomos, etc.?

Only if you can make smallHD or atomos run the DJI GO4 app :P

I own a Mavic and both inspires with Raw. I will be getting this. Yes its a glorified flying iPhone camera, but one with log and recording at 100mbps. With its size and control this is perfect for small and crammed spaces, for "B camera" shots, and for Aerial hyper lapses: the Mavic is actually better than the inspires in terms of stability for this so I think this one will not disappoint. Its also a good drone to attempt some tight stunts without fear of major damage or concerns in hurting someone. I think its a powerful creative tool, this.

Why is it that none of these drones have upward facing obstacle avoidance? This seems like a no brainer, for any indoor flying to prevent slamming into a ceiling, or outdoors coming up into a tree or overhang. 360 degree obstacle avoidance is something I'd like to see in the future, unless I am missing something...

I've wondered the same thing.
