Taken from a post on RED forum by the DJI Marketing manager:

The Inspire1 captures H.264 at 65 Mb/s with a 20mm lens, super low distortion while keeping the wide perspective.
We just implemented the option for DJI-LOG, so you have the option to open up your dynamic range from 8-stops to 12-stops of latitude.

Full 4k @ 23.976 / 25p
UHD 4k @ 23.976/25p/29.97p

1080p @ 23.976/25/29.97/48/50/60
720p @ 23.976/25/29.97/48/50/60

Wow. That's BIG news. These things were already producing really crisp, detailed images - but with the DR to capture a wide dynamic range without clipping, it'll become much easier to intercut them seamlessly with 'proper' cameras.

Exciting times.
 
Yea, i was surprised he just let it slip out like that.... I have searched elsewhere and there is no talk about DJI-LOG

12 stops, 4K and no fish eye.... That will intercut with ALOT of cameras.

This guy might have his figures wrong, or might be fudging them a bit though.... but sounds interesting.
 
Looks like these guys are smart and are serious about selling their products. Give the video folks what they want and you get their attention. Good move on their part.
