DIY Windscreen / Deadcat from $6 to $9

Hey guys, just wanted to share a little diy I came up with for those on a tight budget. I basically came up with the idea to use a furry seatbelt pad as a deadcat and strapped it around the cheap foam of my shotgun mic. There is a demonstration of its wind resistance towards the end so you can hear the difference. Let me know what you think.

Nice one! I did the same a while back by using some fake fur from the local fabric store, it works rather well. Made one for my zoom and my camera mounted shotgun.

My girlfriend is the only one with a leopard print zeppelin in town lol
