..a couple years ago i built a DYI big screen TV projector in a related project to this type of thing.but it only costs 4.00. it actually worked pretty well, and we watched alot of movies on it . i still have it sitting in my daughters closet , but we dont really use it anymore.

..no prob. i have a diagram type photo that actually has pictures and all, and text on it explaining about the parts and how to build it. hopefully it wasnt cleared from my drive when i reformatted.. ill look for it tonight, and try to take some time to set it up and snap a picture of the image im getting.  there are a ton of websites out there that expalin different versions of it though .. most of them want to charge you for the plans to build the simple thing, but its just laughable to pay for plans for somthing that cost 1/8th of what they want for the plans. and there is no patents on it so its not breaking any rules if i give the plans away. .. it works fairly well for darkroom  viewing pending the quality that you put into it building it, and for more money you could use a little better lense for a batter fianl image... even so ..its no DLP by ANY means.. but mine worked ok as a little experiment project for fun, and was was fun to use on occasion. now i dont need it anymore so im suprised i havent thrown it out yet.  


P.S. if you want to save me the time of digging for the info, just do a search on " 100 inch TV "   and tell me if you find some free plans. its basically just a fresnel lense in fron of the tv in a dark room.

LumenLab.com. Different design, but should be equally as cool. Be careful when disassembling your LCD, though. I had a wire tear on mine so I have to replace it. Major suck.
