DIY switch for an Arri fresnel?

I was recently given a damaged Arri 650.
It's mostly repaired now but it's lacking a switch.
The replacements seem to sell for around $20+shipping.

Does anyone have any ideas for a DIY replacement?
Would a household switch be usable?

Use the original or get a switch which is able to handle the current from rs-components or whatever shop there may be where you are...

Wattage=Current*Voltage
Current=Wattage/Voltage=650W/120V= 5.4 Ampere for the US
Or
Current=Wattage/Voltage=650W/240V= 2.7 Ampere for the EU
so get a switch which is able to handle 6 Ampere or above and you'll be fine.

I'm sure RS-components has a variety of switches which will fit your needs, posting a photo would be helpful.
Do not use a household switch!
