DIY Static (for now) adapter. Thoughts?

It is a DVX102b with sgpro achromat, canon aa-e focus screen, a canon eos lens(28-90/aperture can not be changed and that's the cause for the low light), the adapter is also not attached to the camera. And did not clean the dirt on the focus screen much. No color correction or white balancing!

So what do you think about the bokeh etc. please?

Looks pretty good, still look slike you are getting quite a hotspot in the middle/dark vignetting around the edges though. Damn nice quality youtube video though. what format/setting did you export to if i may ask?

Bokeh lookspretty good too. how is your back focus? i found that that has such a huge influence on the bokeh, too close and i get strange circular looking stuff and too far just looks kak.

Get that thing attached, dying to see some super stable shots.

good work

Looks pretty good. I don't think you can tell much through youtube and since it wasn't attached to the camera though.

Thank you attic6, I exported it as a DV avi from Premiere, and Used Sorenson Squeze (Mpeg-medium) then sent it to YOutube.

I watched it again, I think I can see the hotspot on the trees and the balcony wall picture 00:58. If that round brightness is what you call hotspot.

Infact I was unlucky about the shipments of the parts. The holder came out to be for Nikon D screen not Canon ee-a, 72 t0 55mm ring is too late to arrive (3 weeks now and still waiting for it), instead of a macro tube for CAnon FD adapter of which I would use the FD mount part, a microscope adapter for YAshica arrived. : ) so it is not glued and attached yet.

You might not be getting enough light to really tell if vignetting exists. Other than that it is pretty good. Are you using an achromat, perhaps only one on your adapter?
