I thought I would show some stuff I have made for the DVX over the last several months preparing for an upcoming movie shoot. This is a professional looking lens hood I made, really draws in the attention. The plastic is just modified tupperware bowls I picked up from Walmart at 4 for $2.50. Used extra UV filter, then cut hole in tupperware to exact size of filter outside. Installed filter on camera then placed hood (after painted, matte black fusion) and glued into place on outside of filter. So I can just thread it on and off as needed and it is always straight. UV Filter ($19.00) Paint ($3.00) Tupperware ($2.50). I am now working on a mod for it to slide different filters in and out of it, like a matte box.
