Hey guys, i'm back and just would like to show you my new pneumatic dolly. Total cost is $170.00. I just painted it with flat black color. Please see some pics at the link below:

pretty cool,

how did you get the wheels so cheap!!!?

Hi Derrick thanks! I didn't get the wheels separately. I bought the whole cart online at handtrucks.com and it's called "Great Plains Heavy Mover Flatbed Wagon". I just painted it black.

Here's the pic:

Do you think this would work smoothly on the sidewalk? I was using a moving cart as a dolly inside a gym, and it worked magically on the basketball floor, but outside on the sidewalk it shook violently at the tiniest crack.

If not on the sidewalk, would this stay smooth on asphalt?

I tried it on asphalt and it was smooth, i think as long as the surface is flat and even it'll work just fine.

play with the pressure in the tyres, the ruffer the surface, the more air you let out (to a point ofcourse, to deflated, and they'd wanna do their on thing)

Nice work Bernie; I may have to try building this one myself... Do you have a parts list posted somewhere for the seat, push bar, etc.?

Cheers,

Thanks Leo, I actually bought the pneumatic chair for 41 bucks at advance auto parts and it has wheels though. I removed all of the wheels and attached the big tray (bottom part) to the dolly and I would say it worked well. The hydraulic support is sturdy and is adjustable from 15 inch to 20 inch. Here is the pic for your reference.

The push bar was from another cart which we don't use anymore.

Deflate the tires until you find you don't get the shakes over small bumps and crevices.

You will have a bit more rolling resistance so you will need to find the right balance.
