Diy Panda Dolly

I like that you offset your wheels. I was wondering why the wheel truck on the upper left is different?

The truck on the top left was the first one I drilled holes in and ended up doing it wrong.. :-\
but in the end it still worked fine so just left for time being

looks good, and funny. Where did you get the angle iron and how much. I have some long stuff i could cut, but would like to weigh that versus pre cut.

The angle iron bits I found in my local hardware store, they were about €1.40 each and came with pre made holes (had to make the holes slightly bigger with a drill though, but having them there already saved time on measuring exactly where they should be).

Problem that I encountered was that I didnt tighten the wheels tight enough the first time so they came loose after a while. So if you have a one long iron bar it might be difficult to tighten the wheels if they go loose...

very cool. i looked for sections like that at Home Depot and couldn't find anything. I'll have to look around a bit more.

What did you use, and how did you fasten the angle iron on to the dolly platform? You had to go through at an angle.. or is there a bottom plate to the angle iron used for fastening?

Are you using locking nuts for the wheels? If not I would switch over to them next time you're messing with it. If not they'll always have a tendency to loosen up.

also here are a few pics of the rails, made from PVC pipers, ends are connected by 90 degree corner things, they actually help stop the dolly as well.

I also found some rounds metal pipes to connect the pipes for longer track

do those rails hold up well with your weight on them? I bought some of similar size and it just seems light weight
