DIY Konova slider?

Not sure if anyone has posted this before, but while I was surfing around for sliders I came across this company, Lm76. www.lm76.com

While looking at their linear bearings set ups, I noticed the "speed rail" sg looks exactly like the rail for a Konova slider. I'm not sure if Konova uses these rails but they look very very similar. I snooper around some more and found a retailer for lm76 products. I found this website, http://www.controlresourcesinc.com/store/index.asp

Rails and carriage is crazy cheap.... Around the same price as an igus set up. I haven't ordered yet since I wanna take a few more measurements and make sure I order the right rails. But I think I got a winner here. What do you guys think? So far I'm thinking about the largest block, sg35 @700mm (27inches) with 4 roller bearing carriage. Total price 202 with free shipping.

P.s. I am in no way connected to either company. I just wanted to share my findings.

hi there,
you are right to assume these are the same sliders.
the Konova and Cinevate Atlas 10 and 10 FLT use SG type rails and carriages.
I have an Atlas 10 FLT ( cinevate.com) beside me with SGB15UU carriage on SGR15 rails (specs at http://www.lsxyt.cn/en/index.asp)
I plan to order a long rail 50 inch SGR15 rail at the store you mentioned to switch the 26 inch rail in my Cinevate (wonderful railblocks, legs, feet and carriage support)
even though they call it lm76, the product numbers are the same as the Chinese factory ones, the specs are the same and even the drawings and diagrams are identical, so presumably they are exactly the same.
not connected either but just found this out after the resemblance of the products made me wonder too.
enjoy,
Jan
