DIY GoPro Suction Cup Mount

Hey folks,
i thought i would share this, took me about 10 minutes to build overall. The mount sits firmly on glass or various polished metals, the plastic of my fridge, even on my kitchen bench which is made from coated wood.

All you need is this, or similar:http://www.amazon.com/Bracketron-PH...d=1356714643&sr=8-60&keywords=gps+suction+cup

i had this part left from a christmas present so i just filed off the top plate till it was even and took a standard GoPro accessory plate and glued it together.

i like the flexibilty of that arm, similar to a gorillapod, pretty flexible to get the weirdest angles, perfect to be mounted on a car...

i know that this mount is nothing new, but i thought i'd share... :D

cheers

Steve

That looks great! How are the suctions holding out now after several uses? I was always concerned about those types of suction because I had a car GPS/Mobile holder that uses similar suctions that started to become unreliable after a few months use.

Here is another Do It Yourself Action Camera Suction Car Mount that uses a heavy duty glass lifter made of metal and rated at 100 kgs. It uses very thick rubber suctions that holds very well. The parts can be purchased online cheaply. Video includes some sample footage.
