DIY dolly track: WHEELS

hello, i am wondering about wheels for my DIY dolly (dolly base carrier and rails are not so hard to make) but i am wondering if there is any way to get some U shape wheels like those professional...

1) does anybody have found some usable U shape wheels to buy as mentioned down in the article?

2) what about using wide skate wheel as possible and "digging" U shape?

3) what about using two skate wheels next each other in opposite to classic DIY 90° angled skate wheels ( http://cinevidproductions.com/Media/DollyShots/DollyWheelDetail.jpg )

4) if i will use last variant of 90° angled wheels, is it possible to use it on rounded rails or for this purpose need to be done second dolly track?

Anyone with a lathe can make those wheels out of some plastic/nylon round material.

P.S. are you really from Kutná Hora?

All of those casters cited in the web pages are designed to work with straight angle-iron "tracks". They would likely slip off the typical PVC pipe "tracks" that most DIY dollys use, particularly if going around curves.

The most frequently seen solution is to use a pair of modern roller-skate wheels attached at right-angles to an angle-iron like this...
