I have some Contax AE-type lenses declicked by Duclos and love them. But this year I'm not in the US and want to try declicking a couple of lenses myself.
Someone on mflenses.com wrote that AE lenses are harder to declick than MM ones (http://forum.mflenses.com/de-clicking-lenses-for-video-t36646.html). On MM ones you can access the aperture mechanism more directly.
I opened a beat-up 50/1.7 before as an experiment and kinda messed it up. Before I do that again I want to ask if anyone has experience declicking Contax AE lenses and cares to share. More specifically the 35 1.4 and 85 1.4. Thanks.
