DIY Crane (Jib)

I took a few Ideas from people i seen on the web and decided to build one of my own.

I think it came out great!!!! Works awesome and very smooth

I got the tripod from amazon for $60. It the ProAm crane tripod they sell. Decent tripod for this.

Ill be using this with my GH2

HA! thats funny. considering even a pretty bad retail jib setup is no les than about a grand ; )

i'd bet you wont be getting good, SOLID, starts and stops with something this light. but heck, even if you use it ONCE for a transition shot - youve more than got your money out of it.
