Understood. I was thinking along the lines of visual marks to quick reference as oppossed to the MF00 - 99 visual LCD.

Easier to nail a mark than to dial into MF58

That's what I thought you meant, just making sure I wasn't missing something. Yes it would be much easier to slam to a visual mark.

What about focussing by using the eyeometer...too fekking simple maybe ?

I like having the visual marks on the focus ring. You can even ramp a rack focus easily. I don't know why anyone would do that, but it would make it easier!
