This is a DIY rig that I have wanted to make for a while, just didn't have the time to do it! This was actually a VERY fun rig to build, and I get some really good, sweeping shots from it as well. This rig is also very good for running events too.My total was about $15.00,like my suction cup rig.

I made it in about 20 - 30 min. ,and if you do a lot of movement in shots,I would really advise this rig.It gets about the same shots as a "Fig Rig"
And you can also add another bar to the top as well for more stability and safety,it's great for small cameras, and DSLR's especially,I love it in combonation with my Rebel T1i,but you can twist and change my plans up as much as you would like for your DVX,HVX,etc.
But anyways thanks for looking, hope you decide to build one!
Here's my parts list:
1 - Piece of 1 - 1/2" x 7" Aluminium or Steel
2 - 3/4" x 5" Wooden Dowel
2 - Bicycle Grips
2 - 1/4" x 2" Hanger Bolts
2 - 1/4" Brass Caps
