DIY Boom pole questions

[Stu Siegal]

I was thinking of giving this one a try.

Anyone have any alternatives or experience?

Also, I don't have a mount - I'm using a K6/ME66. Any reommendations for a cheap mount?

Thanks,

Stu

Re: DIY Boom pole questions

i was going to build my own a few months ago but the new bogen poles are pretty affordable

you might want to take a look at those first and see if it might be easier just to buy a ready-made one.

i have the at-8415 mount that i use both on the boom pole and on my dvx-100a

Re: DIY Boom pole questions

Matthew, do you have a link for the new Bogen poles? I haven't seen any Bogen booms around. Where did you get yours?

Finished mine just moments ago... havent had a chance to test it yet, but it was very inexpensive and easy to build.
