So I was trying to get ready for my very first shoot where I was going to do audio. I had lent my gear out (ya even before I used it). And the small black bag for the mixer wasn't returned. It is not a super big deal because for the PSC mixer it is a form fitting cloth thing that has no pockets - just holds the mixer along with inexpensive straps.
So after a moment of panic, I remembered I had this old camera bag. The mixer fit! I cut the sides open to allow for the xlr plugs to reach the mixer. I also poked a couple of holes under the front pocket to allow the plugs to reach the tascam dr 40. I cut off the strap that the bag had and I have a lightweight harness that I attached instead.
This was a very cheap solution that doesn't look horrible. Looks better than the black cloth thing that came with the mixer.
