I've recently gotten a job for a University. I'm shooting some videos on an HVX using 1080i. Now... There are 2 things I'd like to do. let me list:
1. View my footage as 1080i when I edit on FCP.
2. Display my final product as 1080i onto a 65'' Sharp 1080p HD television.
Now, here are the problems I anticipate and am asking how to work around them:
1. I know that when I bring my clips into FCP, they get converted into something that may not necessarily be 1080i. How do I get them back to 1080i?
2. The connection between my laptop and the LCD tv has to be the right kind of connection. what options do I have with my macbook pro?
if there are any other problems you think i'll run into let me know, this is all i can think of.
