DISJECTA: The Early Years

Lucky Duck
As most of you know, I'm originally from Dublin, Ireland. I came to the States in 1987 with a dream to be a rock and roll musician. Three bands and eight years later, I gave it up for other creative endeavors.

I got an email from the singer of my old band, Naked Grape (don't ask) and she has put together a MySpace page of photos and music from when we played together. It was a surprise to hear from her after 12 years and even more of a surprise to see these photos and hear the music.

I am the dude on the right with the round glasses and hat when you reach the page:

We were all about hair and yes, I feel vulnerable opening myself up to all of you people :)

Say it ain't so?!?!?!?!?

Jeez, I was lovin' Whiskey on Sunday and Somebody. Reminded me of some of the music I loved in the late 60's and early 70's. Great job!!

Thanks guys. I basically wrote Whiskey On Sunday in my little dingy New York apartment on Broome Street on the corner of Grand (for you New Yorkers amongst us)

:)

disjecta - We already knew you were cool. You didn't need to give us more proof. :) Do you compose any music now for your videos? Maybe you should.

GenJerDan - That's great! But I'm not sure what you are trying to advertise more; Denim Jeans, Huckapoo Shirts, or Dr. Pepper? Either way, you make me wanna be a Pepper too. lol

You sounded good live. Looks like by the year you guys hit headlong into the grunge scene. Those must be great memories.
