I use a friend of mine (what are friends for). his name is David Friedman and he's incredible.

But you already got your answer. I just didn't want to be rude.

Good luck Captain!

Thanks -- I didn't want to be rude either ... that's why I asked for anyone elses input. But, yes, I got my answer. Just couldn't remember if it was you or D.

I do like Friedman's stuff. Is he in the states? Does he just write for you -- you have some sort of agreement with him?

Does he see what he is composing for or do you just tell him what you want and then cut to it?

I've got a kid who works for me... actually sits in the same chair John Williams sat in when he was an arranger in the Air Force. I've been trying to get him to do the tracks for my little films... get his portfolio up for film work... but I've got him too busy arranging and composing for the band. Well -- he's leaving me this summer to go back to school. I wish him well. Jeremy Martin. Look for him in a few years.

David released a CD called Moonrise years ago. It was #2 on the new age charts (Yanni is always #1). He gave me permission to use all of his music from that CD. He's been trying to produce another CD but has been side-track with other work. He has scored for movies and documentaries.

That's cool about John Williams. Maybe you're right. Maybe that kid will be huge some day.
