Did any of you see the Discovery Channels profile(BTS) of the filmakers from the Deadliest Catch. Very cool........, Eight fishing boats, each with two cameraman and about 5 or so cameras in fixed and handheld positions.

Looked like they were using all Sony mini HDV stuff and plastic bags belive it or not for handheld protection.

Awesome, props to those guys, some tough conditions.

The first season they shot it, they said they went out with 21 Cameras (sonys) and came back with 7 working ones... Thats a hell of a death rate.

yeah! I caught part of it.... it looked really awesome

the shot where the camera man stepped back and right into the hole on the deck was crazy, looked like that sh*t hurt

can anyone say broken ribs?
